Law Enforcement Torch Run Series 2017

The Torch Run Series, a run/walk/bike event series, is held during the month of May, brings hundreds of LETR officers and Special Olympics Colorado athletes to carry the Special Olympics Flame of Hope™ through their communities around the state of Colorado, accumulating more than 1,500 miles in anticipation of the Special Olympics Colorado Summer Games. Athletes say that the police officers involved with LETR give them acceptance, friendship and encouragement.

The LETR events serve as the foundation of the LETR movement around the world and are key in not only raising needed funds locally, but more importantly raising community awareness for our 21,118 athletes living in Colorado.
