Individual Giving

Financial contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated and can be made throughout the year. Your gift directly impacts Special Olympics athletes and their typically developing peers. Be part of the Play UNIFIED movement and help change the world.

*$10,000 ensures that 400 athletes can compete in a state championship.

Memorials and Legacies

Gifts in honor of or in memory of friends and family are a dignified way to mark an occasion or remember a special person in your life. Named gifts and endowments are also available. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Megan Toohey at 720.359.3109.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts provide important benefits to the donor as well as Special Olympics Colorado. One simple way to remember Special Olympics Colorado is to include us in your will or estate. When you start thinking of charities that have made a difference in your life or community, please remember us. Many of our supporters have left a bequest of a specific amount or a percentage of their estate. Others have made Special Olympics Colorado the beneficiary of life insurance policies, stocks, bonds and/or retirement plans.

Some planned giving strategies may have a greater tax benefit to you than others, so please consult with your attorney or financial advisor on which strategy works best for you. If you, your attorney or financial advisor has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Special Olympics Colorado by calling 720.359.3109.

Have you already included Special Olympics in your will or estate plans? Please let us know so that we may acknowledge you. We want to thank you today for the difference your gift will make tomorrow!
