Apply to Volunteer
Special Olympics would not exist today — and could not have been created — without the time, energy, commitment and enthusiasm of people just like you, thousands of individuals who choose to take a little time from busy schedules to make the world a better place.
I would like to volunteer the day of an event and/or competition (8 years of age and older)
Class B - Day of Event Volunteers are those who only have limited contact with athletes or who have contact with athletes accompanied by coaches and chaperones. If you choose to be a day of event volunteer (Class B) you will receive email notifications from us when we have volunteer opportunities that become available and then you can reply back if you are interested in that specific event.
To become a Class B Volunteer:
- Complete the Class B - Day of Event - Volunteer Application
- Submit the original, completed application to the SOCO State Office
[mail to: Special Olympics Colorado;
Attn. Volunteer Coordinator;
384 Inverness Parkway, Suite 100,
Englewood, CO 80112]
- Once the application is received and processed, emails will be sent to volunteers with information on upcoming events, competitions, volunteer needs, and general SOCO information. Event information is also available on our Calendar - check for an event near you!
